Not long ago, in a quiet village in Ghana, a man stood inside a spirit house making sacrifices to his gods. He had served as a local witch doctor for many years and was making blood covenants with the spirits he had always called master.
But on that day, something unexpected happened.
We, along with a team of Ghannians trained in one of our early Luke Ten mission schools, come to his village. We didn’t arrive with fanfare or force or bravo, but in love, humility, and with the pure Gospel. We weren’t there to pick a fight or prove ourselves. We were there to share the Gospel with anyone who wanted to hear it and allow the Holy Spirit to prove the message true Himself through His power and conviction.
I remember distinctly being led to preach loudly so anyone not directly in the area could also hear the message. The Spirit carried my voice into this man’s little hut, and by the grace of God, his heart was opened. Right there, inside this tiny little temple surrounded by statues covered in the blood of his sacrifices, as this man carried out the rituals he had known all his life, he heard the good news of Jesus Christ.
That day, he surrendered his life to Christ. The change was potent, real, and immediate. Jesus had his heart, so he left behind his old allegiance and took up the Cross.
The last time I heard about him, he was still sometimes putting on his same traditional garments, but now, he doesn’t wear them in ritual but as a witness. He walks through his community with the boldness of a man set free, preaching the Gospel to those who once lived as he did.
“I once was blind, but now I see!”
This is what the Gospel does. It breaks chains. It brings light to dark places. It transforms lives!
This is why, in just over a week, I (Dustan) will be heading back to Ghana to hold another Luke 10 School, preach the Gospel to the lost, and see how the Lord will raise this next generation of Ghanaians to reach West Africa!
Could you help us make this possible? We still need to raise around $7,500 more to complete the budget and enable us to begin planning for our next Luke 10 school in October (Nepal).
Truly, every gift helps raise another laborer for the harvest! Every prayer sends strength with us. Every sharing of our mission with another helps us spread the message of Jesus!

Thank you in advance for laboring with us in the Gospel. We carry these stories with us, not as trophies but as reminders of what God can do through simple obedience. His love never ends! It reaches from the peaks of the Himalayas in Nepal to the sands of the Sahara in Africa!
All to Jesus,
